About

After I got my first computer in 1995, I became obsessed with computer gaming, making web pages for my Mechwarrior clan (first on Geocities, then with PHP and uploading the files via FTP to free/paid hosting), and it wasn't until 2004 after graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with a double major in Computer Science and Software Engineering that I got started with my professional career as a software engineer.

I've got a long history with technology, but I would say that I cut my teeth in 2010 when I started working as a mobile developer building iOS apps at Bottle Rocket Apps.

When I'm not working, I enjoy going on challenging hikes, making sourdough bread, finding the best hazy IPA in the world (Fieldwork's Pulp currently holds that spot), preparing steaks, and practicing extended fasts (to improve my health and lose body fat—my longest being a 7-day water-fast).
